Pastors Greeting:
1 Thessalonians 5:18
In everything give thanks for this is God’s will for you in Jesus Christ
First of all, my dear friends, I wish all of you a happy Thanksgiving! The Lord has continued to give us life and so once again we celebrate the holidays in our country America.
As we remember all of God’s mercies, let us, with all of our hearts give thanks to the Creator for His love, for salvation through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ, for His care and protection, as well as for all the material blessings that He has sent us in spite of the financial crisis in many countries around the world. Let us be thankful for everything, not only for joyful and happy days, but for the difficult times pf trials and tribulations.
Let us follow the example of the Old Testament prophet Habakkuk, who heroically and faithfully trusted and rejoiced in the Lord and didn’t lose hope for His mercy in difficult times. May his words deeply pierce each of our hearts: “Though the fig tree does not bud and there are no grapes on the vines, though the olive crop fails and the fields produce no food, though there are no sheep in the pen and no cattle in the stalls, yet I will rejoice in the Lord, I will be joyful in God my Savior”.
Love and respect,
Pastor Yuri Georgiev
