Colossians 3:17
And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him
It is my desire that the above verse from the Holy Book would be first of all an encouragement for all the good people who sacrifice their comfort of life and serve helping the needy, visiting the sick and participate in different missionary projects. May our whole-hearted love for God and family be the main motivation of our ministry.
Secondly, may this verse 3:17 to Colossians become a comprehensive principle to judge our Christian behavior, especially when it’s difficult to decide whether some of our actions are right or wrong.
Let’s ask ourselves questions such as: “Can I do this in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ? Will it serve for His glory? Can I expect His blessing for this action? Would I want to be caught doing this when He comes again?”
I believe that obeying this commandment ennobles our actions, words and our whole life. Let us always be grateful to God!
