Psalm 120:1
In my distress I called out to the Lord, and He answered me
In addition to living in the economically challenging times, the times of distress and global crisis, every person living on this earth has own personal worries and emotions. The word “worry” indicates a multitude of problems caused by unfounded fear. Worried and restless people are so busy with thoughts about the future that they forget about the present. They are worried about imagined shortcomings, future health, family, job. Often they can’t even name the reason for their fears and worries.
Humanity has always been plagued with worries, and this problem is aggravated by today’s life style. Everyone has many problems. Let us bring them to God with faith. God can help us! Let us follow the advice of Godly people from the Holy Bible:
“I sought the Lord, and He answered me, and delivered me from all my fears” (Psalm 34:4).
“Cast all your anxieties on Him, because He cares for you” (1 Peter 5:7).
“Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus” (Philippians 4:6-7).
It is my sincere wish that you, my dear friends, should come out of any tribulations as heroes and victors! Remember always “Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him out of them all” (Psalm 34:19).
With love,
Pastor Yuri Georgiev
